The honors underscore the firms’ innovative application of Behavioral Communication—a transformative framework that integrates behavioral science, cognitive science, and communication strategy to drive measurable outcomes while promoting ethical and resonant influence.

Innovating the Future of STEM Communication

Tasked with auditing and refining the Idaho STEM Action Center’s communication strategies, Volume PR and Engagement Science Lab delivered a first-of-its-kind behavioral communication analysis and multi-audience message and campaign attunement to create “maximum potency communication” results. The resulting framework emphasized shifting from fear- and urgency-driven messaging to one rooted in resonance, allyship, and authentic audience connection. This work created a strategic blueprint for long-term engagement with Idaho’s diverse communities to amplify STEM awareness, participation, and support.

“Our partnership with the Idaho STEM Action Center demonstrates the profound impact of communication designed to accelerate communication results through scientifically sophisticated engagement forms that maximize audience understanding and behavior change,” said Elizabeth Edwards, founder of Volume PR and Engagement Science Lab. “The framework we developed, including Resonant Communication and Neuropsychological Engagement principles, reflect our commitment to science-backed, ethical communication that builds trust and drives meaningful societal progress.
