Elizabeth Edwards to Present on Integrated Communication Best Practices Drawn from the Social & Behavioral Sciences to Improve PR Outcomes
Greenwood Village, CO (August 11, 2016) – Elizabeth Edwards, founder, president and CEO of Volume Public Relations, will join a group of experts speaking this fall at the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) International Conference, in Indianapolis, taking place October 23-25, 2016. Edwards is leading the charge on the art of communication and public relations campaigns with the science of human behavior to create more precise communication outcomes. Edwards will demonstrate why she and the team at Volume PR believe this is the most effective method, while presenting one of Volume’s most successful case studies “Lessons from BMW: Apply Psychology to Improve PR Outcomes.”
PRSA selected Edwards to present this groundbreaking, new behavioral communication strategy as the industry is hungry to learn new strategies for making this craft more measurable. This session will provide first-hand examples of how using scientifically proven principals combined with integrated communication and PR practices measurably improve audience engagement, and why some of the world’s leading brands are integrating science and psychology into their PR and communication strategies.
“It has always fascinated me that there are proven scientific laws that govern how humans behave, yet most marketers and publicists don’t know how to include this into building brands,” said Edwards. “By combining the latest research from neuroscience, showcasing how it lead BMW to record breaking ticket sales at its championship golf tournament, I look forward to demonstrating first-hand how to get unprecedented results with science.”
The PRSA International Conference is the intersection of technology and media, providing industry insight on what is impacting the industry. This year’s Conference in Indianapolis, showcases industry leaders who will provide knowledge and tools on the new trends impacting the industry and insights on today’s best practices.
Kicking off the conference, as the first keynote speaker, is NASA Astronaut, Scott Kelly who is speaking on his record-breaking odyssey aboard the International Space Station (ISS), which is particularly exciting for Edwards as she began her career with Rocketdyne Propulsion & Power, the division of Boeing where the ISS was being constructed during her time on the team. Two other confirmed keynote speakers are former CIO at the White House, Theresa Payton, who will speak on cybersecurity and the sought-after nonconformist, Scott Stratten, who was named one of the top five social media influencers by Forbes.
Volume PR is leading the advancement into a new era of communication using neuroscience and behavior-based communications to create precise messages and programs that cut through today’s noisy world to build brand awareness and increase market penetration. Volume recently was appointed into the Forbes Agency Council due to its lead in behavior-based science communication.
