Job Title: Assistant Account Executive (Program Coordinator)
Volume Public Relations, founded in 2001 and one of Colorado’s fastest growing PR agencies as awarded by the Denver Business Journal, has an opening in its growing south-Denver office for sharp, bright and ambitious Assistant Account Executive. The ideal candidates will be innovative, strategic and posses strong critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:
- Format, produce and maintain high-quality, accurate, organized reports, including meeting recaps, expected editorial, editorial calendar, clip, trade show calendar and invoice, under supervision of AE
- Provide comprehensive administrative support for agency and client needs
- Complete assignments in a timely manner and communicate status to supervisor
- Actively participate in team meetings and provide fresh, creative ideas
- Distribute press releases and client information via wire services, email, social media, etc. to target media
- Create media lists and record and update media contacts as needed
- Begin to pitch media under direct supervision via email, social media and phone
- Track and read select industry publications to identify emerging trends and share information with team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing or business related field
- Public relations’ agency experience preferred
- Knowledge of social media and strategy execution
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Must have strong critical thinking skills
